St John’s Gets A Facelift

In July, St John’s Church building will be closed for much needed improvements (painting and carpeting). So, there will be a different Mass schedule in July as noted below:
Beginning July 7th the masses will be in Jonathan Hall continuing through the month of July:
Weekday masses 8:00 a.m.
There is no mass on Tuesday
Saturday vigil 5:30 p.m.
Sunday 8:00 and 10:30 a.m.
Your patience with us while our Church is getting a much needed face lift is appreciated. Updates will be posted as this project progresses.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED

While the painting and carpeting will be hired out, there is a lot of prep work leading up to July 11th such as removal of statues, stations, books, etc. Anything that can be removed has to come out. It is very important for us as parishioners to do our part so that care is taken not to damage our beautiful art pieces. Handy men are needed to help with uninstalling pews. Although July seems far off, it really is not when planning comes in to play. For more information and to sign up to help, please call the office at 985-796-3806.

Some of our statues are in dire need of repair and sprucing up. While these are out of Church presents an opportune time to do this. If anyone knows someone local that can take on this project, please call this office at 985-796-3806.
